Practice Experience

I’ve worked extensively with adolescents and adults across diverse settings, including group practice, school-based, and community mental health. Currently, I own a private practice, Running Rivers Therapy, where I specialize in supporting individuals managing depression, anxiety, and relational trauma. I approach my work from a comprehensive perspective, drawing from expertise in dance/movement therapy, psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed practice, and mindful self-compassion.

About Me

My main values are relationship building, promoting integration, and exploring through movement.

I love understanding, supporting, and relating with people. I find the more we join, the more we know and discover common humanity. As something I value, I hope to share this very same with others as well.

My value of integrating the body and mind throughout the whole therapeutic process is reflective in my life as well. A large part of what I love to do involves movement. I’m a dancer, yogi, skier, backpacker, and whitewater kayaker. These activities fill me up so much because it allows me to move through wild places with others in many different ways. Being a member of these communities allows me to spend time with others in embodied and authentic ways.

My home is Missoula, Montana. I relocated from Portland, Oregon. I achieved my masters in Dance/movement Therapy and Counseling at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. I’m a native New Yorker who found my heart belonged among the rivers and mountains in Montana.

I hold active licenses in Oregon (C7603) and Montana (BBH-LCPC-LIC-64926). I am a Board Certified Dance/movement Therapist (BC-DMT-1521).
